Since we"ll only be living in Pittsburgh for a few more weeks, we wanted to take advantage of being within driving distance of some popular tourist attractions. So, this past weekend we decided to take a last minute trip to Palmyra, NY and visit some historic church sites.

since it was about a thousand degrees that day, our next stop was somewhere we could get a nice, cool treat. what's on the menu? ice cream of course. from the famous chill and grill.
if you're ever in Palmyra you have to stop here.
their serving sizes are ginormous! (right up my alley!)
next stop; the Hill Cumorah Pageant.
we were there on its last day of production so we were told to get there early if we wanted decent seats. here's my crazy duo killin' some time waiting for the pageant to start.
i was in awe of the production the whole time so this was the only picture i took.
plus, no flash photography was allowed (oops).
this is the entire cast at the very beginning of the show. all 800 of them.
AMAZING... i highly recommend making the trip. you will not be disappointed.

which day were you there? my dad and brothers were there just over the end of last week with the Richmond, VA stake!
Sounds like so much fun! I can't believe that you guys got a picture of my license plate. Wow. :) Call me when you can! I want to know what your plans are now!
