Today was Avery's first day of dance lessons. It's only a 45 minute class so I stayed and watched. Avery, of course, was a little shy at first but warmed up right away. She only got a little uncomfortable when another girl tried to hug her (doesn't she realize her last name is Taylor!) After "stretching" the instructor had them sachet' (sp?) across the floor and go around in a circle on releve' (sp?). The releve' was a struggle for Avery to catch onto because she is so flat footed but in the end she kind of had the hang of it. So, if any of you are in need of some good entertainment I suggest you sign your toddler up for dance. You won't be disappointed!

Are you kidding me? I am literally laughing out loud reading this post. I thought about putting Ava in dancing this year, but then figured I better wait a year. :) Seriously, that girl should have known that Avery doesn't like people in her personal space! :) She looks so darn cute in that little outfit!
